Adapted from the 2005 adults-only superhuman battle action visual novel game Ayakashi.
This anime is talking about Ayakashi whom a parasite life force from different planet that gives super massive inhuman powers to its targeted host. Kusaka Yuu, the emo guy who lost his childhood friend and hated the whole world for the life that he has today, until one day Yoake Eimu appears the mysterious girl. Living life with a friend is much better than being alone, so they move on with their life. As Ayakashi is being targeted, Yuu awakens its power and this is how the story begun.
