It was late night when I was about to get out from work, so i decided to relax few minutes of my own. I went to a not so popular internet cafe and the rate of their rent was so cheap. Imagine 6 PHP for every hour you play. OMG just 6 pesos you will never beleive ment but its true. So I try to blog few things in the site and post some topics in the forum then decided to play DotA.
Kael The Invoker
I stunned myself because their was a new map with new hero Kael The Invoker. I wanted to test if this new character is good in one on one, hero killer or a best support. After playing about 3 matches, to my conclusion Kael the Invoker can be played if you are a PRO dota player. Since this character is very confusing about his skills, its not that hard but you better play more and more to be the best Kael the Invoker user.
Spells & Description of Kael Skills.
Quas
Gives 0.75 HP regen per level per instance.
Wex
Given 2% AS and 1% MS per level per instance.
Exort
3 damage per level per instance.
After you leveled up to 6, you will get this new skills. Don’t try to confuse yourself just test some of this to some of the creeps. It wont hurt.
Level 6 - Invoker build [QQW] - [R]
Combines the properties of the elements currently being manipulated, creating a new spell at Invokers disposal. The invoked spell is determined by the combination of Quas, Wex and Exort.
Level 1 - 1 Invoke, 30 cd
Level 2 - 2 Invoke, 30 cd
Level 3 - 2 Invoke, 15 cd
Level 4 - 2 Invoke, 5 cd
Alright, we just covered Invokers basic Spells.. Keep in mind that Q represents Quas, W is Wex and E is Exort! This will help you in managing Invokers spells.
The Breakdown build:
Cold Snap [QQQ] - [Y]
Invoker draws the heat from an enemy, chilling them to their very core for up to 6 seconds based on Quas. Any damage taken in this state will briefly stun them for 0.4 seconds and deal 30 damage.
Triggers cooldown goes from 0.8 to 0.6 seconds based on Quas.
Alacrity [WWW] - [Z]
Invoker infuses an ally with an immense surge of energy, increasing their attack speed to a maximum of 160% based on Wex for 5 seconds.
Sun Strike [EEE] - [T]
Sends a catastrophic ray of fierce energy from the sun at any targeted location after a 1.7 second delay, incinerating all enemies standing beneath it. Deals 75-450 damage based on Exort which is spread over all enemy units withing its 200 AoE.
Ghost Walk [QQW] - [V]
Invoker manipulates the ice and electrical energies around him, rendering his body invisible. The elemental imbalance created as a consequence slows nearby enemies by up to 40% based on Quas, and Invoker from 30 to 0% based on Wex.
Ice Wall [QQE] - [G]
Generates a wall of solid ice directly in front of Invoker for up to 10 seconds. The bitter cold emanating from it greatly slows nearby enemies based on Quas and deals to up to 30 damage each second based on Exort.
Tornado [WWQ] - [X]
Unleashes a fast moving tornado that picks up enemy units in its path, suspending them helplessly in the air shortly before allowing them to plummet to their doom. Deals 375 damage based on Wex and Quas, with distance up to 3100 based on Wex. Holds enemies in the air for up to 2.2 seconds based on Quas.
EMP [WWE] - [C]
Invoker builds up a charge of electromagnetic energy at a targeted location which automatically detonates after 2-4 seconds based on Wex. The detonation covers a 700 area, dealing up to 300 damage based on Exort and draining up to 400 mana based on Wex.
Forge Spirit [EEQ] - [F]
Invoker forges a spirit embodying the strength of fire and fortitude of ice. Attack range, damage and life is based on Exort while mana, duration, and armor is based on Quas. The elementals scorching attack is capable of melting the armor on enemy heroes by 1 each hit to a maximum of 10 for 5 seconds. By maxing Quas and Exort, Invoker is capable of creating 2 spirits instead of 1.
Chaos Meteor [EEW] - [D]
Invoker pulls a flaming meteor from space onto the targeted location. Upon landing, the meteor rolls forward dealing up to 260 damage per second based on Exort for up to 1550 range based on Wex. Deals minor residual damage to units that get hit.
Defeaning Blast [QWE] - [B]
Invoker unleashes a mighty sonic wave in front of him, dealing up to 280 damage to any enemy unit it collides with based on Exort. The sheer impact from the blast is enough to knock those enemy units back for a maximum of 1.75 seconds based on Quas, in addition to preventing their attacks for a further 1-4 seconds based on Wex.
This new dota hero Kael the invoker is one of the hardest to learn hero but if you learn its technique, you will owning in the game. This new dota hero is very cool, especially the meteor and tornado skills, the combos look awesome. Take note that Kael is unable to have any of the 10 spells above until he’s reached level 6. Plus, he only gets one spell at a time.
Kael The Invoker Cheat Tricks
this is not just a cheat its normally a trick. just buy this items and equip him with
1. boots of travel
2. sange & yasha
3. 3 wex
and you have 500 movementspeed and then you have alcarity with 160 attack speed but if you have mask of madnnes to you have the full movement speed thats better than barathum.
or another best item build will be
2 vanguard or 1 tarasque
1 radiance
1 boots of travel
1 aganims scepter
1 ginsoo
1 tarasque
I’ve added small video as you can see how Kael works. Maybe I should try some few test with this hero. Some people says Kael is not that powerful, Though he has Combo’s, Skill Damage,and Disabling capabilities doesnt meantthat he is IMBALANCED or TOO STRONG. Lot of gamer already knew that he can be easily countered. Just buy Black King Bar and linking to repel his magic skills orr buy DAGGER of initiation for you to get close to him easily.

heheheh, as i read these article I wondered if i can use KAEL THE INVOKER as you have done lately. Im going to try those items you’ve said to amaze those people in our shop who always keep on saying that KAE:L is not that quite strong. That he is no match to SNIPER.

Invoker is good farmer so gettin expansive weapons is pretty easy for him. Im not joking at all, problem is, if your teammates are SK and Moon they will get pissed off at ur farming rate and call you noob when you use your skills on creeps, but seriously, you can kill a batallion of creeps with just blast and meteor and that easily gives you A LOT of gold.
BoT is a must for invoker because u can help push and tele back to base to def.
Hex is another must item to run away or to kill enemy. As for me with the new guinsoo and hex build in .50, I will get both of them so I can tornado, blast, hex, meteor = kill.
The most important think about invoker is teamwork cause if you end up feeding, thats the end of your game. Invoker really one of the best support hero, dont expect to go hunting with this guy. I havent see a hunting invoker yet (but its possible to build him as hunter)

Wowww, I Love This Invoker. This’s a great hero, great skill, no one can kill it (except for gang bang). Hehehe… I user Power Thread, Shiva Guard, Skady, Cuirass n Used Ghost Walk with Meteor / Deafening Blast. Can’t be killed… :). Hehehe…
You forgot to say that, to fight kael, you need to equip a gem or at least some wards to even see kael. Most players can easily invoke the invisibility at any time
cmon, kael is just any other hero who has ups and downs. good thing bout kael you can kill int and agitype heroes with just meteor+blast skill if enemy lives use sun strike. the whole combo would be, Meteor(EEW)+Blast(QWE)+Tornado(WWQ)+EMP(WWE)+(+Sunstrike(EEE). before using sunstrike you can cast w WEX to chase and repeat combo and only use sunstrike as a last resort since it eats up too much mana.
as for gang bang, you can always use ghost walk… enemy wont realy spend much just to kill you not unless your at godlike.
only way to kill kael with PRO player would be to get first hit of stun and continues disable so he can’t cast ghost walk. or if kael gets hit by miranas arrow at max range and gang banged by other team members, but hey! how often does that happen?
again items are all situantional, if enemy has blink dagger get one yourself. besides… you have more money than him.
shiva’s guard and orchid is always a good choice for kael no matter what the situation is…
what im saying is, it all boils down to kael euipped to deal with all scenarios… you just have to find out the right combination of skills and items for it…
its not easy to kill another hero if you dont have guinsoo yet. at first dont try to buy any items yet for kael. go straight on building guinsoo. even on 5v5 you should already have guinsoo by level 11 if not level 12. you definitely need guinsoo since kael use a lot of mana. try avoiding enemies first and just focus on creeps. after guinsoo you can build sange and yasha + treads or BOT or meka + stygian + BOT. this will build will not make you only as a support but a killer as well. power combo = meteor + blast + hex + tornado then a few normal attacks. if enemy is still alive you can use sunstrike. just remember practicing on invoking the skills makes you perfect. kael rules!

kael can also use ORCHID MALEVOLENCE. i think kael build does need too much INT so it’s better to amplify his damage first. ORCHID’s does not only add DAMAGE but make kael’s mana regeneration boost. better isn’t it?

LOL, i just had to train invoker for like 3 days and i owned a pro DS 7 - 0 xD
To master blinder, i want you to know that after casting a chaos meteor, even if you invoke another chaos meteor, it’ll be on cd. so no point. rather wait till lvl 7, get chaos meteor and deafening blast, and on 3 Exort orbs. Then attack the enemy till around half health or so, when he’s about to back, deafening blast, then meteor, cont attacking him, if he’s not dead yet. invoke and you’ll get sunstrike. By now, your exort should be quite high lvled and will do quite good damage, you just gotta predict where he’s going, and then first blood. XD have fun trying
